Not too long ago, Dr. Villalobos was a patient at Coronado Dental Associates. She grew up coming to our office and when she decided to pursue a career in dentistry, Dr. Meadows was supportive and encouraging.
After dental school, Dr. Villalobos completed her General Practice Residency in Oklahoma City at OU Children's/OU Medical Center. She then went on to practice dentistry in Tennessee and Sacramento before coming home to Coronado.
Now that Dr. Villalobos is back on the island practicing at Coronado Dental Associates, we believe this is a testament to the supportive, nurturing environment we’ve created here at the office. We pride ourselves on compassionate, respectful care and we’ll always treat you like part of our family at Coronado Dental Associates.
Specializing in all phases of modern periodontal therapy and dental implant placement
Dr. Ho-Yin Leung grew up in Southern California where he attended Bishop Amat High School (La Puente, CA). Dr. Leung became a periodontist because he felt that was the best way he could help patients improve their smiles through treatment and prevention. He is a highly skilled and knowledgeable periodontist who believes in delivering the highest quality dental care to his patients. He is experienced in all phases of modern periodontal therapy and dental implant placement, using advanced techniques and materials. Dr. Leung pursued his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and Master of Science in Biological Sciences at University of California, San Diego between 2001 and 2007. He, then, completed his Doctoral degree in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 2014 and his specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery in 2017 at UCLA School of Dentistry.
He became a Board Certified Periodontist in 2018. Dr. Leung has taught at the university graduate level in both UCSD and UCLA as a graduate student and a resident for many years. He is currently a clinical adjunct faculty at UCLA School of Dentistry mentoring future dentists. Dr. Leung had also involved with numerous research effort and co-authored articles in peer-review journals while he was a research associates at UCSD, Caltech, and UCLA. Dr. Leung is married to Dr. Marie Dizon (Pediatric Dentist) and enjoys spending time with his children, Ayden and Adelynn.

Alex completed her dental education at Pensacola State College and has been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 25 years now. She is proud to serve her patients by providing excellent care and the occasional laugh.

Anahit has been working in the dental field for over 22 years after completing her education to become a Registered Dental Hygienist at Southwestern College, San Diego. She loves meeting new people, getting to know her patients one-on-one, and helping them achieve their healthiest smile.
Deb attended San Diego State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in foods & nutrition. She went on to pursue her dental hygiene education at Southwestern College. She has been working in the dental field for more than 20 years and loves working with her teammates and patients at Coronado Dental Associates.
Veronica has been working in dentistry for 19 years now and loves how rewarding her job is. Veronica enjoys working with such an amazing team and getting to know her patients. In the office you can usually find Veronica assisting Dr. Meadows and Dr. Villalobos, keeping things organized, or decorating. Family is very important to Veronica, and she loves spending quality time with her four boys.
